Wishing on a Lucky Day: Jupiter and Venus connect on Saturday, January 28!

Two planets in the sky: Jupiter and Venus, were considered by the ancients to be beneficial planets.  When they make angles (also called aspects) to planets in our chart or to each other, lucky things often happen.  It turns out that Jupiter and Venus have a cycle of aspects to each other, rather like the Sun and the Moon in the sky.  Sometimes Jupiter and Venus are aligned, which is like a New Moon - when the Sun and Moon are in the same place in the sky.  Other times, Jupiter and Venus are opposite, which is like a Full Moon - when the Moon is directly opposite the Sun from our vantage point.  In all, there are eight major angles (and several minor angles) that Jupiter and Venus make in their 10 month cycle.  At each of these angles, life flows more easily, happier things happen, and opportunities sometimes appear.

One of the last minor angles in the current Jupiter-Venus cycle occurs on Saturday, January 28th at 5:30AM.  At this time, it is good to take stock of what good things have happened in your life over the past eight months and take an attitude of thankfulness to Divine Providence.  As well, it's good at this time to take stock of what you haven't liked over the same period, and perhaps symbolically burn it away, as if casting it into a bonfire.

Since the next major aspect is coming very soon, it's good to use the current minor aspect to prepare for it.  Thus, imagining what you would like to have in your life is a very good thing to do at this time, along with saying prayers and/or affirmations for them.  Taking time on Friday evening, the 27th, while the exact angle is approaching very quickly, is a very good time to do these things.

The next major aspect is an exact alignment between Jupiter and Venus, and it occurs on March 13, 2012 at 11:49PM.  Just like a New Moon, this is the end of the old cycle and the beginning of a new one.  And it so happens that this occurrence is a very powerful one - because it is supported by angles from other planets in the sky.  Namely, the Jupiter-Venus alignment is part of a grand trine with Pluto and Mars!  Whatever you truly wish for over the next month and a half is certain to appear and manifest.  Wish wonderfully, and wish wisely.  Happy wishing!
