There are ideologies that are breaking down, too, as the decrease in their usefulness becomes apparent; and as the consequences of truly living the ideology miss the mark of benefiting our lives. An example is the abundance of mass shootings that have been happening almost daily in the USA, and the NRA ideologies about gun ownership. While many people adhere to their love of having guns, the small but increasing probability of being in a mass shooting situation is fueling calls for change. This really is a time of change in our belief structures and our idealized fantasies and dreams for how life should be.
We're pretty serious about getting work done today, though at times we may feel thwarted.
