Today, the Sun is in Libra. The Moon is in Libra. and is a New Moon.
Devastating flooding in South Carolina, Russians bombing the opposition in Syria, tensions and the potential for hostilities in the South China Sea if the USA sails warships near China's new artificial islands there, prolific mass shootings around the USA, these are some of the horrible manifestations of the current New Moon, which is in a Tsquare with Uranus and Pluto, representing disruptive change and crisis. The recent fascination with Pluto and its interestingly variegated landscapes, (including a heart!), the discovery of flowing water on Mars, the many privately funded efforts underway to populate and industrialize space by mining asteroids, and colonizing Mars and the Moon, are a few of the more positive larger than life manifestations of the current New Moon.
While the energies of the day indicate disruption, heavy applied actions, and potentially crisis and opportunities, they also indicate passions that are optimistic, and an ability to flow with change, and even be inventive within it.
For some people, long held desires are being restructured. Perhaps even the creation of solutions for those desires is being transitioned to the next level.
